Title – Direct to Consumer Experience Manager
Description – Ash & Elm Cider Co. is seeking a full time Direct to Consumer Experience Manager (DCEM) to join our team. This position will be responsible for coordinating direct-to-consumer sales in multiple channels, including through special events, farmer’s markets, online sales and subscription services.
This person will work closely with our team to ensure that all events are communicated, coordinated, and staffed well. In addition to these tasks, the DCEM will work to create replicable systems related to hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, staffing, and managing events.
This position will also manage our online sales portal and cider subscription services. This includes processing ongoing orders in a timely manner, staffing and managing quarterly subscription box releases, working with the VinoShipper team to troubleshoot, and creating innovative ways to recruit and maintain subscribers.
Responsibilities
Recruit, hire, and train part-time event staff.
Schedule and coordinate staffing for off-site events.
Create and implement organizational systems to ensure Event Staff are prepared for their shifts.
Maintain and organize event equipment and supplies.
Identify new sales opportunities that will increase event revenues and expose Ash & Elm Cider Co. to new customers.
Communicate with event organizers to ensure all requirements are met for attendance including permits for alcohol sales.
Communicate with Event Staff to ensure they are well supported during events.
Assist with the preparation, set up, and breakdown of event equipment as needed.
Transport event materials from the cidery to the event location.
Manage Ash & Elm Cider Co.’s VinoShipper profile.
Communicate with subscribers to our Cider of the Month program to answer any questions and resolve any issues.
Work with owners to create exclusive content and access to subscribers
Requirements - The ideal candidate for this position is both detail-oriented and flexible. They will be asked to work independently and problem solve with minimal supervision. The ability to prioritize, multi-task, and make decisions quickly is necessary. Creating and maintaining efficient systems is key. Familiarity with technology is necessary - Excel, MailChimp, point-of-sale software, and online portal management are all important aspects of this position.
