Title – Events Manager
Description – Ash & Elm Cider Co. is seeking a full time Events Manager to join our team to help us expand the reach of our ciders throughout the state through off-site events.
Ideal candidates will be both detail-oriented and personable. Excellent customer service, the ability to create and implement new systems, and the ability to coordinate and synthesize information are all important parts of this role. Weekend and evening availability is required.
Responsibilities
Maintaining a positive and professional attitude, as well as modeling Ash & Elm Cider Co.’s company values.
Researching and securing new event opportunities for Ash & Elm Cider Co. to attend throughout 2023 and beyond.
Growing the A&E Cider Co. brand through attendance at events throughout central Indiana.
Managing a team of part-time event staff, including hiring, training, and supervising.
Coordinating the entire process of our farmer’s market program, including applying, staffing, coordinating weekly inventories, managing A&E equipment, and communicating logistics with event staff.
Coordinating the entire process of our festival and one-time event activities, including researching new opportunities, applying, staffing, and coordinating cider quantities with the A&E production team.
Ensure all legal requirements are met for off-site events, including applying for and tracking off-site event permits, obtaining Certificates of Insurance when needed, and providing reporting afterwards.
Coordinate and implement A&E Cider Co. with signature events, such as the Rooftop Anniversary Party and Autumntidings Fall Fest.
Be an active member of the A&E Cider Co. management team, finding ways to work across departments to increase brand awareness and cohesion within the company.
Work at as many events as possible, especially larger events, both to ensure connection with the events team, provide on-site troubleshooting, and to build relationships with event coordinators.
Additional Details – Must love cider! Valid Indiana driver’s license, auto insurance, and an Indiana Server’s Permit is required or must be obtained. There will be some traveling throughout Indiana (Ft. Wayne, Bloomington, Jeffersonville, for example) that include driving the company van. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time is required. Working on evenings and weekends is a part of this job.
Compensation - This position has a range based on experience. Full-time members of Ash & Elm Cider Co. receive paid-time off, holiday pay, and an employer-matched IRA.
